"The General's Boombox", canción tributo al gran Joe Strummer (por Street Dogs)

Eso, una canción tributando al ex-The Clash, hecha por los bostonianos Street Dogs, banda que cada día me cae mejor; no serán los más virtuosos, pero entran en la selecta galería de las bandas de punk que buscan dar un mensaje en cada letra, con mucha cosa social cada vez que se puede. La banda está liderada por Mike McColgan, ex-cantante de Dropkick Murphys (militar, combatió en la guerra del Golfo, e incluso colgó su música en una época para dedicarse a ser un bombero).

PD: creo que, sin dudas, Street Dogs es la banda que más me impacta por su cantidad de homenajes. A este tema para Joe Strummer agregale la épica y maravillosa "Fighter", dedicada a un bombero amigo de Mike McColgan, Kenny Walls, o "Kevin J. O'Toole", que si no recuerdo mal está dedicada a un tío que le inculcó a Mike la pasión y dedicación por ser bombero.
